A Day of Joy and Unity.
This year, our school celebrated Onam, the vibrant harvest festival of Kerala, with great enthusiasm and joy. The air was filled with excitement as students and teachers came together to embrace the rich cultural heritage of this beautiful festival. The day was marked with various activities including the much-anticipated Athapookalam competition and delightful activities for our kindergarten (KG) students.
Athapookalam Competition
One of the highlights of our Onam celebration was the Athapookalam competition.
Our students showcased their creativity and artistic talents by designing stunning Pookalams using colorful petals, leaves, and other natural materials. Each class participated enthusiastically, with vibrant designs that reflected the spirit of Onam.
The judging panel, comprised of Art teacher and Principal Dr. Reji, admired the intricate designs and the effort each student put into their creations and selected the winners based on creativity, colour selection, perfection and neat presentation.

The celebration also included a variety of fun and engaging activities for our kindergarten students. To introduce the little ones to the cultural significance of Onam, teachers organized the display of the special Onam feast by including the traditional Kerala dishes and shared the same with all the kids. Students also enjoyed this celebration by dressing up like the legend of King Mahabali to exhibit the essence of Onam. The special Onam dance was performed by KG kids along with their teachers.
Our Onam celebration was not just an event; it was a beautiful gathering that embraced unity, creativity, and cultural diversity. We look forward to many more such celebrations in future with the cooperation of our parents.
Industrial visits play a significant role in transforming cognitive function into practical application. KENBRIDGE organized an industrial visit for students in grades 3 to 5. The students were taken to the nearby Sri Saravanas Ice Cream Factory, where they were introduced to the processing of ice cream in controlled temperature chambers. The factory staff provided ice cream scoops to all the students, making it a fun and memorable experience filled with great reinforcement.
The students of Kenbridge observed Industry Day by visiting the nearby Britannia Biscuit Factory on August 31, 2024. It was a remarkable sight, and the children had a session with the team members of the Britannia factory regarding the complete production process and packaging. Finally, the students were served fresh biscuits by the industry representatives.
Our students from Kindergarten to Grade II went on a picnic to Reddiyarpatti Hill on August 30, 2024 (Friday), where they visited the Sai Baba Temple and a food engine surrounded by greenery and birds. The students meditated in the temple to relax their bodies and minds. They also visited the food engine hotel to enjoy the park arrangements, where they were served thinai laddu as a welcoming gift by the hotel staff. They played and had a wonderful time
KenBridgeians gave SAYANORA-2024 to our Grade-12 students with a heavy heart.Different events were prepared by our students and teachers.Gifts were exchanged.
Sports Day was celebrated to bring out the hiddent talents of students.ECA activities took part as one of the events.”Runners and Winners awarded with certificates,prizes and medals.Chief guest of the event was Dr.UmaMaheswari (BNYS,MYC)Psychology,Govt Hospital,Sankarankovil and Mr.Raja B.Sc.,PGDCA., Crime branch Dept, additional incharge as DSP in Thalayuthu.
It is a time to honour the children who have spent together in the KinderGarden years LKG and UKG. Various cultural events was organized which ended up as a visual treat for the audience.
The National curriculam framework for the foundation level that has been prepared by the NCERT on the line of NEP2020.The main focus of this seminar were the highlights of competencies,learning outcome,principle guidelines,approaches that should guide the teaching and learning of Foundational stage, that is BalaVatika to Class II.
International Yoga Day is observed every year on June 21st to raise awareness about thus ancient practice and to celebrate the physical and spirirtual prowess that Yoga has brought to the world. Yoga is a role in relaxing the mind and body boosting peoples immune system.
The students of KenBridge were taken to District science center in order toobserve the International Asteroid Day where our students spent their time by witnessing the experminental arrangements , 3D show and enjoyed the different games showcasing the scientific principles.
KenBridge organized an investiture ceremony to row the seed of leadership in the minds of elected SPL,ASPL, Sports captain,Sports vice captain and to carryout the essence of yhe same throughout this academic year.Its started with the school band and the elected members and was headed by Mrs. Aarthi Dayashankar,Academic co-ordinator, Pricipal and Vice principal,teaching and nonteaching staffs.
National Doctor’s day in order to observe the significant role of Doctors.The senior Psychiatrist and the Director of Sneha Mental care clinic Dr.Panner Selvam and Mr.Arun the clinical Psychologist graced this occasion and addressed the gathering.
In this context our our school celebrated today as “Educational Development Day” and out students performances like dance , song ,elocution and chracter talk.
KenBridge organized the clay competition in order to modulate the imaginations of the children and enable them to give better shape to their creativity.
KenBridge has organized orientation program for class-IV in collaboration with IQF, a well reputed and registered trust working in the field of ducation since 1995.This session was included with the Yoga fitness activities,skills to deliver excellence in action,snapping images and classroom rules.
KenBridge celebrated the National Handloom Day along with our first PTM.Our teachers displayed different towel arts and our students also were participated by exposing their art work out of wastes.
In order to train our teachers and students to learn the way to overcome their emotional barriers, our management has organized a Laughter Therapy with the collaboration of the member of Inner Wheel Club and Rotary club members DR.Ramkumar Sethupathy,Mrs.Gomathi Mariappan,Mrs.Bavithra Gopinath.

KenBridge school collaborated with a teamof Dentistsfrom Lakshmi hospital to organize a free Dental Camp Dr.Vaanadhi initiated the event in the presence of Rotary club and Inner wheel club members.

The KenBridge CBSE school organized KENTELETHON a fundraising event for the children who are affected by AIDS.The different events and games were arranged by the classes X,XI,XII students.Our academic coordinator Mrs.Aarthi Dayashankar, Principal and Vice-Principal initiated this program.On behalf of management staffs and studentswe exttend our gratitude to the members of Rotary club Porunai and InnerWheels club for honouring this event.

“THE VEETUKU ORU VIGNANI” is a telent hunt event which has been organized by Puthiya Thalaimurai for the past 40 years in search of young scientists from schools of TamilNadu.This year the VEETUKU ORU VIGNANI 2023 has been hosted by our school in collaboration with Puthiya Thalaimurai.OUr District Collector Dr.K.P.Karthikeyan IAS graced this occasion.
The KenBridge Teachers and Students has a mass Garbha dance movement on 20.10.2023.All were dressed in traditional attire with the colourful and bright fabrics and dance gracefully to the Garbha music that was played for 20 minutes with no time lapse.

In order to promote a healthy life style nand encourage the students to make the healthy choices,KENYARD a mini vegetable garden plan initiated by the students.
KenBridge celebrated Children’s Day in a grand manner Dr.Annie Prewina M.B.B.S.,D.C.H.(Paediatrics), consultant,Kaveri Hospital graced this occasion and addressed the gathering.
A Capacity Building Program is the process through which individuals ,organizations and socities obtain, strengthen and achieve the development objectives and learning outcomes.CBP on Experiential Learning for the teachers of CBSE Schools that come under CEO Chennai. Mr.Girish,the Principal of PSG Public School,Coimbatore and Mrs.Alliya, the Principlal of Mohammed Sathak Kabeer Public School,Ramanathapuram,was the resource persons of this program.Different levels od team activities and projects to get practice of using Experiential Learning. 57 teachers from different CBSE schools participated and had a quality time.
The K.G is preschool educational approach incorporated based on playing,singing,practical activities such as drawing,and social interaction as part of the transition from home to school.
Pongal festival was celebrated in a grand manner to honour all the farmers.Pongal was prepared and offered to God as a thanks giving ceremony. Many traditional games were conducted by the teachers to our students to make them understand the value of those games.Teachers took achieve part of it.
